Significance of Inbound Integrations in Fusion Applications

admin

How the General applications connect the fusion applications. The application can be In house application or that it can be any third party applications of a company. Inbound Integrations are the primary step to start any project or to work on any fusion application.

As we all know that there is no direct interaction with database and fusion applications. We use Saas models to connect database and fusion applications.

Because, we are not using typical coding to reset, update and delete the data it connects with the fusion apps database. Therefore, fusion has given a couple of ways to connect fusion applications with a third party application of a company.

How To Connect DataBase to Fusion Applications through Inbound Integrations

Inbound integrations

HCM Data Loader:

The first way is the HR applications. The primary tool to interact with the HR applications with the fusion is HCM Data Loader. HDL is a powerful tool that will help us in storing the data in bulk and also help to do changes in the data. HDL is the best tool and must use this tool to start any project in real-time.

Spread Sheet Data Loader:

The spreadsheet data loader is available to load some set of an object directly into the application. For example, this SDL is available in Job. To load a Job, go to the job’s screen there spreadsheet button will be there to create a job’s spreadsheet.

Click on the spreadsheet, the spreadsheet will open up. Enter the details on the spreadsheet click on upload automatically data will go into the application.

So, Most of the business users use Spread Sheet Data loader to load data if the data is less or data is not available in any other system. While downloading the data there is no necessity of contacting the functional and technical consultant to do those kinds of work.

Spreadsheet data loader is offering that kind of flexibility and it offers very limited access to release and upload the spreadsheet to hundreds of objects.

Payroll Batch Loader:

Payroll batch loader is used for payroll associated data elements such as element entries, payroll relationships, and direct deposits. There are several components that payroll batch loader to supports to load data in bulk.

This is the other way of interacting the fusion applications to load the data in one time or number of times.

SOAP/Web Services:

This is the dynamic way of interacting the fusion applications is SOAP / Web Services. Oracle fusion offers multiple web services on multiple data objects.

For example, the Employee object creates employee a web service at the endpoint enable by the fusion. If you consume the employee web service to create an employee object infusion application.

All that you want to need to do is whatever the web service, fusion is exposes outside take that web service and call that web service or any other program and make sure to establish the proper connections.

Call that web Service which is exposed by the fusion application and automatically that web service being called and that employee been created.

That called web service will respond to the appropriate return value and based on that you can decide what happened on that operation.

This SOAP is a very powerful tool and it can be used if you have a dynamic call to the fusion application.

Conclusion:

These are the several ways of interacting fusion applications to build the inbound Integrations based on your project needs.
